Advisory sessions
An hour with somebody who has read a great many entry packs. This is the only thing on the site that costs anything, and it stands in for no inspection, valuation or insurer.
What the sessions cost
Three of them, chosen by how close the event already is. All by telephone or video, all ending in something written down that you keep.
-
Entry paperwork read together
€110€85 / 60 min
For an owner filling in a first entry form. We go through the pack the organiser sent and work out what is actually being asked for.
- Entry form walked through
- Class or display decision discussed
- Document checklist for the day
- Written summary afterwards
-
Transport plan
€130 / 90 min
Road, trailer or a split of the two, worked out for one specific car and one specific event rather than in general.
- Route and duty-cycle review
- Loading and securing plan
- Questions to put to your insurer
- Contingency for the day
- Written summary afterwards
-
Full show preparation
€260€210 / 2 × 90 min
The fortnight before, planned as a schedule: what to check, in what order, and what to leave alone.
- Two sessions, a week apart
- Preparation schedule you keep
- Document folder structure
- Packing list for the day
- One follow-up call after the event

The three questions people arrive with
Drive it there or tow it. That answer depends on the car, the distance and the month, and it is worth half an hour on its own.
What is the entry form actually asking for, and what is being agreed to by signing it.
Go in alone, or ask a club for room on its pitch and accept what the club expects in return.
How the hour is spent
Whatever you hold goes over by email first: the entry pack, photographs, the trailer if there is one. It is read beforehand, not while you wait.
Then the call itself, sixty or ninety minutes according to which session was booked, worked through your car and your event rather than the general case.
A written summary follows within a couple of days. Most people keep that and forget the rest.
Paying, moving, stopping
Invoiced by bank transfer after the call. No card is handled anywhere on these pages and no deposit is asked for.
A booked slot moves once at no cost, given a few days' warning.
If ten minutes in it is clear this is the wrong help, we stop there and no invoice follows. It happens now and again and nobody minds.
General guidance from people who show cars, and nothing more. An inspection by a qualified person, a written line from your insurer, and the organiser's own conditions all outrank it.
